We were seven female friends who were staying together in the villa, and we loved the design, the size, the pool and the location. Just five minutes walk to Oberoi street, where there is a lot of excellent shopping opportunities. The staff were friendly and helped us when we needed them. All seven were very satisfied with the stay, and we would choose the same place another time. We recommend it for others.

the breakfast made in our villa was great as was the private pool and all the staff were lovely
that reception closed at 7pm and didn't open until quite late in the morning

Our two bed villa was wonderful, beautifully appointed rooms, lovely and clean, spacious with a lovely swimming pool to relax in after a foray down the high street
I wasn't particularly impressed with the breakfast, the quality of the food wasn't high and neither was the quantity. Also the location wasn't good, situated up a long dark alley, quite a walk from the shops and heart of the resort but the accommodation did make up for it.

The Villa was very well decorated and the standard of maintenance good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We booked a two bedroom villa but were allocated a three bedroom with one bedroom locked. The extra living space was very welcome. The villa was well equipped and well located for access to the main restaurant street and not too far from the beach.
Not many negative points; the main ones being it would have been better if the floors were mopped and cleaned properly before we arrived and at least once during our stay. As it was, it was only swept for dust so was quite dirty in bare feet. The lighting at nighttime was very low and there was no lighting in the living or dining areas that would have made it possible to read, or see things clearly.

The villa was well appointed with an excellent pool. The design was functional for two couples to use. The location was convenient and quiet. Staff friendly and helpful.
Would have liked complimentary coffee and milk in the kitchen.

the staff and the facilities in each villa were very good the pool especially was fantastic
the lighting in the evening was too dim it was very difficult to read. the out door toilet although very priviate we did need time to get used to it the shower was very uncomfortable when it was raining. also although the villa was close to many restraunts we had to take a taxi to do shopping

Very convenient location for central Seminyak. Quiet, peaceful, safe & secure. Good quality overall.
Many mosquitoes in the open air bathrooms and generally in the evenings.

Our villa was very modern and posh in a Bali-nese sort of way. Both bathrooms were gorgeous - great tub, shower and water pressure. The kitchen was super useful to us because we were travelling with our three year old and needed to cook for her and heat milk up for her at night. Great pool as well. We also used the bicycles and motorscooter which made our whole trip so much easier. The staff were wonderful as well. Spoke excellent English and always pointed us in the right direction.

The villa was beautiful. Breakfast made each day in our villa was a plus. Very kid friendly but still quiet and secluded. Would be an ideal stay for romantic weekend or family vacation.
It was initially difficult to find without using a driver from the hotel.

The villas are well equipped, staff very attentive and polite. The location is 5 minutes walk to a range of restaurants and ten minutes to the beach.
The Residence will accept cash payment in us dollars for accommodation upon arrival. We would strongly recommend this as if you choose to pay by credit card you can may only pay in local currency. The Management then try to enforce an extremely unfavorable exchange rate and charge an additional 3% credit card fee.

1) No hot water function after the 1st day stay. 2) Breakfast was late on a sunday. 3) Limited breakfast menu and small portion. 4) Pool was quite deep - not suitable for young kids.

Staff were friendly overall and the hotel was close to the main shopping area.
Breakfast was poor, staff were disorganised and slow. Massages excruciatingly expensive compared to any other 5* villas l stayed in. Bill was incomplete and overall the service was extremely poor.

We had a great time staying at The Residence this is our fifth visit to Bali and the location was excellent. The Villa was very comfortable the only fault I have there is only one TV and the couch was small and uncomfortable for a 3 bedroom villa TV in the bedrooms would have been handy. .
TV room to small for such a large villa
